The Agile Alliance Australia (AAA) is a membership based organisation serving the Agile community in Australia (and New Zealand). The Alliance's objectives are to improve understanding and use of agile processes and practices, both for members and non-members. Since the AAA is in it's infancy there are relatively few tangible services that are provided specifically to members. Membership is an indication that the individual or organisation supports the use and improvement of agile approaches and is willing to back the provision of services that benefit both members and non-members. It's not something that's done for financial advantage! Members should be able to proudly display the AAA logo as a symbol of their support. The membership structure that was accepted at the initial meeting parallels the structure used in the global Agile Alliance: a) Individual membership categories
b) Corporate The cost of membership depends on the size of your company.
Any member of your organisation can sign up for a free membership and get the normal member benefits (they're required to use an email address from your domain). Companies membership is indexed by the total number of employees rather than the numbers of employees active in AAA because it represents the support of the organisation, not the support of individuals |
